About

We began our journey together by quietly exiting the cliche-life…

We married young, had babies young, built and buried a career young, and are now starting over young…  We and our ten ‘babies’ (The Peas)… now living on the other side of the world… from Mid-west USA to South Island New Zealand… So continues our quiet journey… now with a pod full-er than ‘average’… we call it

 LIFE

It is Truly an Adventure… and we’re on it.

  6. Hello, Tica. I had coffee withy our Aunt Chrissy, Grandma Marty and Grandpa Christy today. We had a very nice visit. Chrissy gave me your blog address. I enjoyed meeting your little “peas” through your blog and reading about your life in New Zealand. Carmen told me you are expecting an additional “pea”. Congratulations! I bet the kids are excited. I look forward to,reading more of your entries. Audrey Hanson.

  7. Greetings tica! What a fun site! Tho our pod stopped at six, I can relate to the full pod. Our homeschooling year has been a bit more complicated and full than years past. With 2 middle schoolers, 2 elementary, 1 kinder/pre-1st, and a busy 3 1/2 year old who is either sitting at his school desk asking what his school work is or distracting the others, life is nothing short of busy.
Tell dusty that we are loving the house. The school room is actually the old gun storage room, ahna has her own room, and the other 2 rooms were converted into 1 big room for the 5 boys.
We love your parents. They are the greatest neighbors and friends. Our boys’ favorite chore is helping Chuck cut wood. 🙂
Congrats on number 9! I can follow y’all now. 🙂
